The works in my Mindbug series are imaginary abstractions of color and form. These pieces are built through a process of layering and washing off India ink many times. I finish some pieces by adding a watercolor painting , then applying powdered pigments in acrylic medium. Other works are finished with drawing in India ink, or mixed media. These images may be unrecognizable but slightly familiar, a view of ambiguous space.
