Painting in the studio in August is a challenge, especially when it’s around 90 degrees outside, and lots higher in the studio with no AC. I’ve got a fan, but really, it’s not big enough for the heat some days. So my favorite thing to paint on a hot day is something cool and blue and waterlike…here’s some new abstract work that’s been coming together this summer, oil paints with powdered pigments in medium, very experimental for me, and I’m not really sure if they’re done, or not?
